Pu-erh Premium

Pu-erh Premium is a traditional loose leaf Pu-erh tea from Yunnan Province, China, made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Created through a distinctive post-fermentation and ageing process, this dark tea is made with Pu-erh tea leaves and is known for its deep earthy character, smooth body and reddish-brown infusion.

The cup is rich, mellow and rounded, with classic Pu-erh notes of earth, wood, forest floor and gentle dried fruit. Its smooth texture and full character make it a distinctive choice for those who enjoy bold Chinese loose leaf tea with depth, complexity and a clean, lingering finish.

In Chinese tea classification, Pu-erh belongs to the Hei Cha, or dark tea, category. It is sometimes casually called red tea in Western usage because of its infusion colour, but Pu-erh is its own unique category of fermented dark tea. Pu-erh has traditionally been enjoyed after meals and is often chosen as part of balanced tea and wellness routines. It is sometimes called "slimming tea"as during fermentation, Pu-erh tea develops compounds such as theabrownins, polyphenols and polysaccharides. These compounds have been studied for their potential links with lipid metabolism, cholesterol levels and body weight.

Pu-Erh how to brew?

Here are several tips for you to get the most from your Pu-erh tea:

Using hot water to pre-warm your cup and utensils for brewing not only clears away any dirt or flavors from previous teas brewed, but it also keeps the tea at an ideal temperature.

Washing or rinsing your tea leaves before brewing can remove any impurities so that you can enjoy the pure authentic flavor of the Pu-erh tea.

Since Pu-erh tea only steeps for a very short period of time, you only need to steep the first cup for about 15 to 20 seconds. Each time you re-brew the leaves, simply add another 15-20 seconds of brewing time for each additional brewing of the leaves.

There are many different types of Pu-erh tea, and each type can be steeped multiple times. The higher grades of Pu-erh tea can be brewed up to ten times, and each time you will gain the health benefits of the Pu-erh tea.

As we all know, Puerh will get a better and more mellow taste after being stored for a long time. However, to store puerh in a proper way is the most important.
