Oolong Tie Guan Yin
Oolong Tie Guan Yin, also known as Iron Goddess of Mercy, is a premium Chinese loose leaf Oolong tea from Fujian Province. Made with carefully crafted Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea leaves, this celebrated tea is known for its elegant floral character, smooth cup and refined semi-oxidised style.
The tightly rolled jade-green leaves slowly open during brewing, producing a bright, silky infusion with fresh orchid-like floral notes, soft buttery undertones and a clean, lingering finish. Lightly oxidised, Tie Guan Yin sits close to green tea in freshness, while offering the added depth and rounded texture associated with traditional Oolong tea.
This classic Chinese Oolong is especially rewarding across multiple infusions, with each steep revealing a slightly different balance of floral lift, smooth body and gentle sweetness. Best enjoyed plain, it is an excellent choice for those who appreciate delicate loose leaf tea with clarity, elegance and a long, graceful finish.
